This week, I thought it would be nice for us to explore some religious education and PSHE.
To do this, we can use the book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar‘ by Eric Carle and for this lesson to take place in an outside area; in your garden, local park or by a pond.
You can focus on the question, ‘Why do things change?’ and new life in the natural world.
Questions that could be thought about during this time:
Would it be a good thing if everything stayed the same?
What might happen if nothing changed?
How does the caterpillar change?
Why do you think they change?
You could draw a picture of what you see and then draw a picture of what you think the same scene would be like in a years time.
Google what different religions might think about change and remember these answers may be different and we have to respect all views.
