SATs week.

It is that time of year again; it seems to come around quicker and quicker every year! Our wonderful, hard-working Year 6 pupils will be sitting their SATs (statutory assessment tests) throughout next week. I have been utterly impressed with our pupils and their approach to classwork and homework over the past two years – they have done everything they can to make the most of the learning opportunities available to them. As a result, I am confident that each and every one of our Year 6 pupils is prepared to do their best.

There was no homework set for this weekend as we (Year 6 and myself) decided that we just need a weekend of fun and relaxation so that we can smash the tests next week! The tests take place in the mornings. Afternoon sessions such as swimming and PE remain unchanged – business as usual!

Monday morning: Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar papers.

Tuesday morning: Reading paper.

Wednesday morning: Arithmetic and Reasoning papers.

Thursday morning: Reasoning paper.

Friday morning: NO TESTS.

Have a fantastic weekend!

Mrs. Evans.
