Hope everyone is safe, well and enjoyed their weekend. BBC Bitesize have their schedule for the week ahead so please take a look. We have recommended lots of websites over the weeks but this one really is an excellent ‘go to’ site for planning your child’s learning.
This is a really fun website which will help your child to learn their times tables ( the burger game is good fun). It’s a change from the usual ones we recommend so hopefully enthuse the children more if they are getting a bit fed up of others.
Read a book and write a book review. If you take a photo of your child’s work, we will share it on our web page and it might encourage others to read . You could even video your child reading an extract ( we do miss hearing them read! ).
Another great resource- https://www.pobble365.com/the-magic-library/
If you have the time ( and the ingredients) your child could bake/cook something delicious? They could write out the recipe and you could send me some pictures of the final result. Again, I’ll post on this class page. Don’t worry if you don’t get round to it this week, they could plan it this week and bake/cook it next week. They could even open their own restaurant for the evening ( with supervision!). They could write out a menu for their guests and become the waiter/waitress for the night.
As always, e-mail if we can be of any help – firstname.lastname@example.org
