Printing

Today we tried out our fossil themed string prints.

Othello!

We have another Othello board! We can never have enough Othello boards!

Thank-you, Miss Peacock!

Maths to music.

“We had a really tricky maths question and we were determined to solve it. We were so determined that we took it to dance class after school because we couldn’t stop thinking about it! We showed Julia (our dance teacher) who tried drawing pictures to solve it. Then we started to use street dance to make the rows. Half dance and half maths!”

Well solved ladies! I am very proud of you. Mrs. E.

KS2 Cross Country

This morning 37 KS2 children attended a Cross Country competition at The Grove School in Market Drayton.  The year 3 and 4 pupils had to run a course of 1200m whilst the year 5 and 6 had to run 1500m.  Every child gave 100% and I couldn’t be prouder of them.  We have a record number of 4 pupils qualifying for the next round where they will compete against schools from all over Shropshire. Fantastic!

Dance.

Today, we have worked in groups to plan and perform a dance to African drum music.

Maths partners.
