We hope you have had a lovely summer and are very excited for a new school year to begin. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our new class on Thursday and cannot wait to see you all in your uniform. We know it is a big transition for the new children as well as parents so please speak to us if there are any questions or concerns.

As so many missed Sports day this year due to chicken pox, Hawkstone class took part in their very own running races today. They happily cheered each other on and all came home with a medal. A lovely way to end the year.

The children have made some beautiful animal masks which we have proudly displayed in our classroom. Parents are welcome to pop in for a closer look.

Hawkstone Class enjoyed a visit from the School Nurses today to talk to us about being healthy. They learnt the importance of  eating the correct foods, getting enough sleep, brushing their teeth, washing their hands and exercising. They also talked about being kind. The children sang songs and played an exercise game. A great morning!

The children are trying very hard with their reading and many are reading regularly at home. Please remember to write in their diary when you have heard them read. They will be receive a prize if they have read three times in a week. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had great fun today taking part in the Easter bonnet parade. The standard this year was incredible and the children enjoyed looking at all of the fantastic bonnets from the other classes. Hawkstone class have also taken part in an Easter egg hunt this week and had a visit from some adorable lambs. They have had a lovely week to finish off a fantastic term. Happy Easter!
