We have had even more people who help us visiting us today. We had Karen Roberts who is a life guard and swimming teacher in to talk about water safety and we had Carl Ruscoe who is a fire fighter in to talk to us about fire safety. He set the children some homework to make sure their parents check their smoke alarm works. We have been very lucky to have so many different professions into our class and have learnt so much!

The children enjoyed a visit from Midlands Air Ambulance yesterday. They learnt all about the very important job they do and were very excited to sit in the Helipod, which was once used as a real air ambulance. Thank you to everybody that sent in donations for this fantastic charity.

Hawkstone and Nursery enjoyed a visit from a Police man today. He told us all about his job and showed us the Police car. We loved listening to the siren and watching the flashing lights. We asked him lots of questions and many of the children told him they want to be Police officers when they grow up. The children are really enjoying learning about people who help us and are looking forward to their next visitor.
