The Iron Man

We have been reading ‘The Iron Man’ by Ted Hughes over the term. The children are comparing the text to the film. They have also written their own descriptive extracts from the story.

KS2 Cross Country

This morning 37 KS2 children attended a Cross Country competition at The Grove School in Market Drayton.  The year 3 and 4 pupils had to run a course of 1200m whilst the year 5 and 6 had to run 1500m.  Every child gave 100% and I couldn’t be prouder of them.  We have a record number of 4 pupils qualifying for the next round where they will compete against schools from all over Shropshire. Fantastic!
