It was lovely to spend time with you all this morning. I hope you enjoyed talking to the children about their interests—there was certainly a lot of variety! They all did exceptionally well and I think they gained a lot from sharing their knowledge with adults.
Thank you also for your ‘exit ticket’ feedback. We read them out in class before lunch; the children were really pleased with all the comments—some were quite amusing!
Your child’s end-of-year report will be sent home today. Apologies for the delay, which was due to Ofsted taking up a week of our time! (The Ofsted report will be published in the autumn term. We’re only allowed to say, “We are pleased with the outcome.” I’ll just leave that there!)
If you’d like to discuss your child’s report, I’ll be available tomorrow. I’ll also be in school on Monday between approximately 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., so feel free to contact me then. Alternatively, for Year 5 pupils, I’d be happy to meet with you early in September.
