Tuesday Christmas Dinner!

Our school has undergone ‘Healthy School’ accreditation. However we have noticed that some children are increasingly bringing in chocolate and crisps for break times. All pupils in Nursery, Hawkstone & Caradoc classes are provided with a variety of free fruit on a daily basis and should therefore not need to bring in any snacks to eat at break time. KS2 pupils should only be bringing in fruit, veg, raisins etc. if they require a snack at break time. Only water should be brought into school in drinks bottles, not juice or squash.

Due to increased awareness with regards to severe allergic reactions, pupils should not be bringing nuts into school at all.

As per text, the menu this week has altered.

Wednesday is Tomato and mascapone pasta with crusty bread or sausage and mash.  Jelly or mousse for pudding.

Thursday is Hot dogs with pommes noisette and baked beans or Jacket Potato cheese and beans.  Chocolate muffins for pudding.

Friday is Chicken nuggets and chips for all.

The PTA has sent a big thank you to everyone who took part in last Friday’s event.  We raised £660 to help the school and our children.  It was fun and very worthwhile.

We raised a staggering £142.31 in our Poppy Appeal this year.  The charity were delighted.
