Happy Easter!!

What a term we have had! Children are really making great progress in their mark making and they have enjoyed exploring fine and gross motor activities, sensory and maths activities and lots of craft activities on offer. We have been very lucky for children to have had a first hand experience of seeing baby lambs, baby chicks and our tadpoles to watch grow and children have learnt lots about the food we eat and where it comes from. They have learnt all about Spring and this is something we will continue to build on over the coming weeks. Some children have completed our Talk Boost sessions and they have enjoyed meeting Tizzy and Jake and exploring stories and activities that Tizzy has introduced us to.

We have welcomed some new faces into our classroom and we hope these children are settling well and enjoying their time in nursery and we have had lots of potty training success.

Well done for the fantastic efforts children and families have made in creating such great World Book Day outfits and imaginative Easter Bonnets…they definitely all had a lot of time and thought put into them and the children have proudly shown off these, also allowing children to mix with some of the older children within school and in turn building their confidence around peers and around school. We are so proud of them!

Children will come home in the new term with some ‘magic moments’ slips. If parents and/or carers feel their child needs some recognition for something fantastic they have done at home, please send one of these slips in with them for us to celebrate their achievements with their friends, because they really are all little superstars!

For now, we will leave you with some of our best bits this half term and we wish you all a lovely Easter. We can’t wait to see all of the children in the new term where we will continue to prepare the older children for their transitions into Reception in September and build on those strong foundations that our younger children are already showing.
