We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for working with us this week whilst we have been returning to remote education. We do not underestimate the immense pressure you are all under. We feel passionately that whilst the education of pupils is of paramount importance, so too is the mental health of the entire family! Many of you will be juggling your own work, managing children of different ages whilst living through a global pandemic and the obvious anxieties that will go with this.
Our message to you is that whilst the remote learning is there for you to access, we understand if your individual circumstances prevent you from completing all of the work set every day. If you are finding it difficult, please contact your child’s class teacher who will be able to support you and help prioritise work if needed.
We are very grateful that as a school community we are pulling together to keep the health risks as low as possible for all members of our school community; pupils, pupils’ families, staff and their families also.
Currently, we know some of our families and staff are dealing with COVID infections and we are wishing them a speedy recovery.
We very much hope that we will be able to return to normality in the not too distant future. Until then, we remain committed to supporting you and your child through these incredibly difficult times.
Stay very safe,
Mrs Brotherhood and Mrs Evans
