We have had a busy first FULL week back. The children have made good use of last week’s homework to create fact files about modern day Africa; we have reviewed and consolidated our mastery of simple sentences in English and have enjoyed reading ‘Freedom 1783’ together in class. In maths, we have focused on place value – reading and writing numbers up to ten million and developing our understanding of ‘powers of ten’.
