It feels like we are building momentum at the moment and that time is moving very fast indeed! We are drawing ever closer to two of the biggest events in the Year 6 calendar: SATs and the residential.
SATs week will take place during the week beginning Monday May 12th. The timetable for the tests can be found below. The children have expressed an interest in completing a dummy run of SATs week (a ‘mock’ test week), which we will do next week – I think that knowing what to expect in terms of classroom arrangements and so on, is reassuring. The children can then bring their marked papers home to review over Easter.
Additionally, the residential is drawing ever closer – which is always very exciting! I have attached a kit list and an information sheet containing further information about the trip below. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please get in touch!
Finally, we have a writing competition currently open in Darwin. The deadline is Monday – aim for quality over quantity in terms of length!
